Human Resources Coordinator Job at ANN Corporate
The HR Coordinator should be a conceptual thinker with strong organizational, time management, and communication skills. They should also be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, handle basic HR administrative tasks with the ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
The HR Coordinator’s primarily responsibility will be to provide support to HRBP team and designated client groups, specifically with the new hire and exit process, maintaining shared documents, tracking and maintenance of employee data, HR Workstreams and Workday accuracy. Reporting to the VP, Human Resources, this role will be a critical team player, working alongside a team of HR Generalists, Managers and leaders. Most importantly, they will be an ambassador of our company culture.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage Associate Experience entry and exit points including communications, onboarding and offboarding actions, and overseeing tracking documents.
Facilitate and prepare materials for New Hire Orientation.
Manage changes that need to be keyed into our HCM system, Workday, and audit regularly to ensure accuracy.
Assist HRBPs in updating and maintaining company organizational charts and corporate rosters.
Respond to associate inquiries pertaining to payroll/benefit questions.
Assist HRBPs with tracking Contingent Labor, partnering closely with Adecco partners and working within the Beeline tool.
Maintain the HR Drives/Library – organize and file important information and employee records as it relates to Talent Assessment, Salary Planning, benefits, policies, payroll, signed documents, etc.
Create/Distribute associate change letters in partnership with Total Rewards team (promotion, equity, title change, lateral moves).
Assist the HRBP team with Performance, Development and Talent Strategy key milestones and sessions (including the creation of necessary documents, meeting scheduling and note taking).
Assist with ad hoc HR projects and events (Summer Internship Program, DE&I programs, Learning and Talent development programs, volunteer activities, etc.)
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field of study, preferred (Psychology, Sociology, Behavioral Studies are also preferred related fields)
0-2 years of experience as an HR Coordinator/ Assistant. Recent Graduates are welcome
Works well with others and can establish productive working relationships
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong prioritization and multi-tasking abilities
Strong organizational and time management skills
Resourceful and able to independently problem solve
Meticulous attention to detail
Passion and personal interest in the fashion/retail industry, retail experience a plus
Basic knowledge of payroll and benefits with a willingness to learn HR functions, best practices, and general labor laws
Highly proficient in MS Office and related business and communication tools. Experience in Workday a plus but not required
The target salary for this role is: $24.04/hr - $26.45/hr
Actual compensation within that range is influenced by a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and other job-related factors.
