About the role

As our People Experience Specialist (PES), you are the gatekeeper of Buena Vibra’s team overall culture satisfaction & experience. Your main objective and goal is to ensure that our employees enjoy a top-notch experience when it comes to human resources processes, policies, procedures, programs and activities. As a People Experience Specialist you are responsible for leading and providing support for HR functions including but not limited to Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations & HR Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Employee Experience & Engagement: Develop and implement engagement and retention initiatives such as recognition and rewards programs to enhance the employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Learning & Development: This role has a strong focus on creating, developing and implementing our L&D strategy as a learning organization to ensure our workforce keeps learning and growing as we develop and innovate as a whole.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Support the compensation & benefits strategy which may include but not limited to benefits administration, compensation structure management and payroll processing.
  • Employer Brand & Talent Acquisition: Support the Talent Acquisition strategy and collaborate with People manager in the acquisition of the best talent. You have a special focus on setting the ground of our processes and developing a talent pipeline as well as creating and maintaining strong relationships with potential candidates and industry colleagues.
  • Diversity & Inclusion: This role will also support our D&I strategy by assessing our internal needs as well as developing external alliances and initiatives with the community to increase our participation and visibility in this pillar of our culture.
  • Communications & Organizational Relations: We expect you to be a strong communicator who can make sure we stay connected with our people by developing and implementing communication strategies, employee relations processes and organizational structures.
  • Support in the management of general office clerk duties and errands, including but not limited to handling inbound and outbound calls and other communications, helping organize and maintain office common areas, greeting clients and visitors as needed and any other office-related support.
  • Participate in special People Operations initiatives and/or projects as needed.

Candidate requirements

  • Education and experience:
      • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, or relevant field.
      • At least 2-4 years of HR dynamic experience (C&B, L&D, TA, ER).
      • Experience in an Advertising Agency is a plus.
  • Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Attributes:
    • Knowledge of Federal and Local legislation (U.S. and P.R. labor laws)
    • Knowledge of HRIS (Human Resources Information System)
    • Self-motivated, proactive problem-solver and with a "CAN DO" attitude.
    • Open to feedback and seek to set clear expectations, yet you can work with some reasonable uncertainty.
    • Proficiency in Google Suite applications as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to work in an independent way and with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to work as part of a team.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
    • Effective presentation skills.
    • Excellent verbal and writing skills in both Spanish and English.
    • Ability to multi-task and handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.
    • Superpower communication skills - a clear communicator, in person and writing and able to present ideas with conviction and confidence.
    • Superb presentation skills - quick to absorb and analyse large amounts of information, enthusiastic, energetic, imaginative, approachable, outgoing and diplomatic.
    • Superior organization/project management
