We are currently seeking a Industrial Electrician for our veneer operation that can help support operations by working on a team and independently to install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and electrical systems, as well as grounds and structures, in order to maximize equipment productivity and safety.

We are hiring for *_2nd shift*_ which is four days a week, Monday - Thursday, with an approximate start time of 2:00 pm._

This is a full-time, year round job with great benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, matching 401 (k), access to an on staff licensed professional counselor, product discounts, and more! Pay is weekly.

The Duties

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Have knowledge and understanding of industrial electrical , pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Inspect and test machinery and equipment. Read and understand electrical schematics.
• Coordinate and perform installations of new and upgraded equipment, either individually or on a team.
• Perform preventive and general maintenance on equipment as defined by OEM manual or assigned by supervision.
• Maintain a working knowledge of all equipment within the department and quickly and efficiently address and repair any equipment breakdowns and/or issues.
• Troubleshoot all machine or equipment malfunctions and discuss machine operation variations with supervisors, other maintenance workers and operators to diagnose problem and/or to repair machine.
• Create inspection and repair schedules.
• Operate a cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
• Diagnose repetitive maintenance issues and ensure critical parts are in inventory. Coordinate purchases with the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintain flexibility with regard to work scheduling needs.

The Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience working in an industrial or commercial maintenance environment
• Welding skills are a plus
• Computer skills that include, at a minimum, email, Microsoft Office software, and Google Suite programs
• LEAN manufacturing background preferred
