Job Brief
Our stablished Company is growing its clientele, and we have an excellent opportunity for a Junior Estimator to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in construction projects, be organized, motivated, detail-oriented and driven.
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate cost estimates
- Prepare estimates and purchase orders in detail for all products
- Ensure timely completion of estimates and submit them for approval
- Understand scope of work to bid in accordance with the client needs
- Manage bid pricing from vendors
- Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
Skills
- 1+ Years’ experience in construction estimating
- Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
- Able to multi-task, respect schedules and meet deadlines
- Impeccable problem-solving skills
- Experience preferable in Windows & Doors Quoting Software
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Hialeah Gardens, FL 33018: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Construction estimating: 1 year (Preferred)
