Seniors’ Resource Center (SRC) is seeking a highly proficient individual for the role of Lead Coordinator – Programs. SRC is dedicated to enhancing the independence, dignity and quality of life for seniors in the Metro Denver Area and surrounding communities. We believe seniors are a vital part of our community. Job Type: Full time (M-F) Days 40 hours
Starting Pay Rate: $18.00 – 20.00/hour DOE

A Brief Overview
The Lead Coordinator – Programs role is responsible for the working with the Day Program Site Manager to meet the needs of the program, this includes working directly with clients and their caregivers. Coordinator is responsible for the completion of special projects and assignments as needed. The Coordinator will work with the departments within SRC to enhance the client experience and provide high level of care.
What you will do
100% Adult Day Program support
· Provide general, comprehensive administrative support in an effective and efficient manner. Including: client enrollments, billing, care plans, daily documentation, regular maintenance, etc.
· Assists in the initial assessment of participants’ ability to participate in adult day.
· Assesses abilities and changing needs of participants, supports the team with the changing needs of the clients.
· Communicates with caregivers as needed to provide reassurance or support.
· Communicates with care mangers and others involved in clients daily care as needed.
· Assist with managing telephone calls received by the Site Manger to ensure that contacts are handled in a timely manner.
· May write client care plans and work with team to maintain compliance.
· Maintains up-to-date knowledge relating to geriatric care and Dementia care and facilitates trainings as appropriate.
Qualifications
· High School Diploma or GED – Minimum Required
· Bachelor’s degree in gerontology, recreation, social services, nursing, rehabilitation or related fields from an accredited college/university – Highly Desired
· Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) card or the ability to obtain one upon employment –Required
· Minimum of two years’ experience in a care setting for the frail and cognitively impaired elderly- Required
· Highly proficient in Excel – Required
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail - Required
· Proven database experience – minimum 2 years in database configuration, data entry, tracking and reporting – Required
· Dependable and committed to improving older adults’ lives
· Time management skills
· Patience and understanding of the older adult community
· Ability to manage and plan for care supply needs
