Machine Operator - Baler / Aerator

Malnove Inc., a family-owned, nationwide folding carton manufacturer, seeks Machine Operator workers for its Jacksonville, FL facility. We have been part of the packaging community for over 70 years and in that time we have become an essential part of America’s supply chain. The recent development of COVID-19 has increased the demand for consumer goods and the need for folding cartons.

Machine Operator Job Duties

The Machine Operator is responsible for assisting in successfully achieving production and quality requirements while safely operating large format paper packaging equipment, to include one of the following:

Die Cutting Aerator or Baler.

The machine operator must ensure that quality control, waste minimization, and good housekeeping standards are maintained. and troubleshoot to ensure that production speeds are maximized.

Machine Operator Worker Shifts / Availability:

Baler - Day Mill Shift (7am - 7pm, rotating schedule)

Die Cutting Aerator - Day Mill Shift (7am - 7pm, rotating schedule)

Full-time, schedule rotates every 2 weeks.

Overtime available

Climate Controlled Facilities

Machine Operator Requirements / Qualifications:

• 1 year manufacturing experience or equivalent
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Basic data entry and computer skills
• Ability to operate a forklift or pallet jack
• Some positions require ability to differentiate color
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment

Machine Operator Compensation / Benefits:

• $18-$20/hr, Depending on Experience.
• 2nd shift differential 75¢/hr 3rd shift differential $1.00/hr

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
