Opportunity Summary:

We are seeking a Marketing Manager for Upland’s Contact Center Business Unit. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of marketing programs and activities that will maximize awareness and generate a pipeline of MQLs and SQLs to support our revenue targets.

Qualified candidates should have experience developing and launching targeted and integrated demand generation programs aimed at a defined ICP. The role includes generating new sales opportunities as well as marketing activities aimed at the existing customer base for expansion opps. Content marketing will be a key component of the lead gen/lead nurture activities throughout the marketing funnel. Opportunities for thought leadership will also be important in driving awareness and credibility.

Equally important, this person should have the desire and ability to generate detailed marketing reports that track and analyze the performance of campaigns, evaluating their effectiveness and associating campaigns to revenue.

Experience in the knowledge management and/or contact center space is a plus.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement integrated demand generation programs including webinars, email campaigns, content syndication, advertising, paid media, industry events, intent data, ABM, and more to help drive pipeline and meet sales revenue targets
  • Create communications and programs targeted at customers to identify upsell and expansion opportunities
  • Increase awareness and visibility by leveraging media publications, industry associations, analyst relationships, and more
  • Ensure drip campaigns and lead nurture programs are in place and optimized for results
  • Coordinate with Product Marketing and Product Management to position and communicate product releases for maximum impact
  • Work with sales and SDRs to provide marketing support for industry campaigns, ABM initiatives, events, and more
  • Maintain relevant website content, making suggestions for new content, resources, and landing pages
  • Ensure all campaigns are tracked, reported, and analyzed to understand performance and determine ROI
  • Work closely with other marketing managers to share best practices and develop creative cross-sell campaigns

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
  • 5+ years of demand gen marketing experience in a B2B setting, ideally marketing software solutions to enterprises
  • Analytical mind and keen eye for detail to generate consistent reporting on all marketing initiatives
  • Effective communicator who likes to collaborate with others
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and project management skills
  • Experience with Marketo, Salesforce, and ABM tools a plus
