High school graduate. Six months previous experience in a hospital clinical environment. BLS & Baic Arrythmia Course rquired. The Monitor Technician supports the nursing process through the constant observation and documentation of the cardiac rhythm of patients assigned to telemetry monitoring. Under the general supervision of the Charge Nurse and reporting to the RN Manager, the Monitor Technician alerts the Nurse assigned to the patients to any changes in cardiac rate or rhythm. This is a FT benefits eligible position yp-7a (72hrs per pay).
