Hiring Range: $24.20- 27.80 per hour depending on experience

A Brief Overview
Provide medical oversight, help implement medical protocols, and act as liaison between caregivers, direct care staff, medical personnel, and those receiving care. Maintain quality assurance in all functions.
What would you do in this position?
- Develop medical plans and write protocols
- Provide tele-nursing consultation and triage
- Review medical orders and lab results from appointments and follow-up as needed
- Complete home-visits and medication monitoring
- Collaborate with pharmacy with orders and clarification
- Document and record patient information into departmental database
- Act as liaison between caregivers, direct care staff, and medical personnel
- Educate and train direct care staff and caregivers on medical issues
- Provide medical training, such as QMAP, G-Tube, and others as needed
What education or experience would you need?
- 1 year or more nursing experience
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Licensure
- BLS Certification
- Valid Drivers License
- Experience working with people with disabilities preferred
What knowledge, skills, or abilities would you need?
- Ability to communicate clearly in oral and written forms
- Ability to use office equipment such as fax machine, scanner, copier, phone
- Ability to use standard nursing equipment
- Ability to work as a team with multiple groups of employees
- Analytical thinking skills to solve routine problems using common sense
- Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Basic organization skills
- Basic typing and data entry skills
- General knowledge of state regulations
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and processes
- Leadership skills needed to mentor or train coworkers
