Nutrition Services Aide I Job at Northfield Hospital & Clinics
The Nutrition Services Aide ensures kitchen equipment is cleaned, food orders are prepared according to patient needs, dining rooms are set-up and cleaned, and food carts are delivered.
Responsibilities:
- Washes, sanitizes and stores dishware, silverware, pots and pans and trays.
- Checks patients' food order for accuracy according to diet needs prior to delivery.
- Sets up the Long Term Care Center dining room for supper.
- Washes and sanitizes tables in the cafeteria and counters in the vending area.
- Delivers food carts to various departments.
- Stores and rotates food and supplies in unit refrigerators and freezers.
- Monitors and records temperatures of milk cooler, milk and coffee.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 16 years of age; high-school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to read, write and speak English; follow verbal and written directions, complete simple calculations.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to stand the majority of shift
Schedule:
- 40hrs/2wks
- Weeknights: 4:00pm-8:00pm
- Every other weekend: 7:00am-3:00pm
