Office Manager Job at Stockton Progressive Glass, Inc.
The office manager duties and responsibilities are daily bookkeeping, accounts payable/ accounts receivable using Quickbooks / Excel, work in progress billing. The Office manager should have experience with a variety of office software (email tools, spreadsheets and databases) and be able to accurately handle administrative duties. Previous experience as a Front office manager or Office administrator would be an advantage. Ultimately, the office manager should be able to ensure the smooth running of the office and help to improve company procedures and day-to- day operation. This also includes answering phones and greeting customers.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions system
- Partner with Owner/CEO to update and maintain office policies as necessary
- Organize office operations and procedures
- Ensure that all items are invoiced and paid on time
- Manage office General and Administrative budget, ensure accurate and timely reporting
- Provide general support to customers
Skills
- Knowledge of QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions for accounts receivable/payable, accrual accounting, contract billing, bank reconciliation, prevailing wage payroll, and employee payroll, work in progress billing
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)
- Proven experience as an Office manager, Front office manager or Administrative assistant
- Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
