Overnight Front Desk Agent - $15.00 per hour Job at Grand Hotel Golf Resort and Spa

This position is an overnight shift from 10:30 pm to 7:00 am.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

  • Check guest in and out, help with guests needs, and other Front Desk functions.
  • Audits manually written or online data.
  • Examines interest and account payments, cash receipts, sales tickets, inventory and stock record sheets, and similar items to verify accuracy of recorded data.
  • Balances individual profit center codes.
  • Corrects errors or lists discrepancies for adjustment.
  • Computes percentages and totals and compares results with recorded entries.
  • Audit room and tax, to assure that room rates and market codes are correct and rates are uniform with current rate structure.
  • Post all room and tax to active guest.
  • Balance the hotel credit cards: Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Golf.
  • Balance Front Desk cash to the preliminary reconciliation and Food & Beverage cash to the micros reports, and Golf Pro Shop cash to the CGS report.
  • Post all late charges and all guest check corrections to guest folios for 3:00 AM check-outs.
  • Run all computer reports necessary to complete the daily revenue report.
  • Organize the front desk area by 6:30 AM so that the AM front desk staff can properly prepare for their shift.
  • Accurately fill out the required Excel spreadsheets.
