General Description:
This position provides front-line supervision of various administrative, financial, and customer support services related to campus parking, transportation, and NOVACard operations.
This position is funded with non-continuous or non-recurring funding and is subject to continuation based on fiscal year funds and the needs of the college .This is an entry to mid-level position.
Duties and Tasks:
Essential Functions:
This position provides front-line supervision of various administrative, financial, and customer support services related to campus parking, transportation, and NOVACard operations.

Duties and Tasks:
- Supervises office staff to ensure a high level of customer service and compliance is maintained during the collection and deposit of parking and NOVACard funds, per established guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Provides oversight and support of campus Transportation operations.
- Manages campus parking regulations through routine monitoring and enforcement.
- Frequently interacts and coordinates with campus and central management; serving as a specialist for gathering parking information, improving processes, resolving escalated customer matters, and recommending solutions.
- Collaborates with and supports the College NOVACard Office with campus level NOVACARD and FastPrint functions.

Minimum Qualifications
Required KSAs:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and cash handling principles.
- Ability to supervise and train others.
- Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment.
- Ability to deal with money accurately and carefully.
- Ability to solve complex analytical problems.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Capable of communicating and expressing ideas clearly and concisely, in both writing and oral formats
- Knowledge or experience upholding Virginia or VCCS policies, rules, and regulations for administrative and financial functions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Business or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Some experience supervising in an office environment and handling escalated customer service problems
- Driver’s license and good driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field or a combination of education and experience equivalent to such a degree is preferred
- Proficiency with computers and office-related systems.
- Strong technical experience or background
- Experience working in a College or University parking or transportation department.
