ABOUT THE ROLE*
As the Payer Strategist, you will touch most functional areas within IVX Health, including (but not limited to): growth; product development; payer contracting; revenue cycle; new market selection / development; strategic relationships; operations and clinical program development. The role will be diverse, challenging and offer ample opportunities for autonomy and growth. The Payer Strategist will report directly to the SVP, Strategy & Product and will regularly interface with the executive leadership team and heads of IVX business units. The successful candidate will have meaningful influence across multiple departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES*
- Lead development of payer business planning activities and initiatives, including innovation and new services, relationship expansion, new market engagement and research, payer product business impact assessments, and payer program operational design and implementation
- Drive enterprise-level relationship development with national payer and select major payers with a goal of establishing payer partners across the infusion care continuum
- Manage payer related footprint growth planning analytics and research to deliver payer insights in new markets
- Own and manage payer innovation projects and capabilities across the enterprise, including site of care management, value based case, and alternative payment model development
- Work in a collaborative approach with payer contracting, finance, and revenue cycle on payer relationship expansion to ensure delivery of the right services to accelerate growth.
- Produce strategic summaries to communicate across multiple levels and audiences (both internal and external) using appropriate mediums (PowerPoint, Spreadsheets, etc.)

COMPETENCIES
- Proficiency with standard office software applications (Outlook, Microsoft Office, Teams®)
- Skill and ability to collect, organize, synthesize and analyze qualitative and quantitative data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Business; Master's Degree (MBA, MHA, MPH) is a plus
- 7+ years experience in consulting, healthcare growth stage, or similar healthcare services environment
Experience with enterprise sales and payer program development is a must
