Due to the growth of our business, we are currently seeking a Controls Engineer II. This individual will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team focused on creating solutions which address customer operational challenges through automation. Day-to-day activities will include engineering design, documentation, troubleshooting, product support, commissioning, new product development, and working hands-on with capital equipment in both a testing and live environment. Other duties include but are not limited to:
- Engineering design of integrated controls solutions comprised of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, motors, blowers, compressors, and various field instruments
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to provide technical knowledge, expertise, training, and documentation regarding Aerzen blower and compressor equipment and control systems
- Project and product engineering, allowing for a mix of work which interfaces with customers both internal and external to the organization
Travel: 5-10% Domestic Travel
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an ABET/EAC Accredited Program Field of study: Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Civil, Software, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent Engineering degree / relevant work experience in instrumentation and controls as a systems integrator.
Experience: Minimum 2 - 4 years of relevant professional (Controls) experience is required.
Must have controls projects management, design, commissioning, and troubleshooting experience. Must be able to demonstrate a mastery of fundamental engineering, project management, design, and commissioning techniques.
