Production Assembler/Builder
Since 2014, RW Gate Company has designed and manufactured the highest quality water control gates and related equipment used in water control systems. In a short time, we have become a leader in the Water and Wastewater industry. Due to rapid growth, we are looking to fill several positions in our manufacturing shop.
The Assembler/Builder is an important part of the RW Gate supply chain, ensuring that our product manufactured and assembled meet our customer deadlines. Standard work hours are 7 am to 3:30 pm, with occasional overtime available.
Duties include:
- Combining sub-assemblies into one complete unit meeting deadlines
- Attaching sealants and gaskets along frames according to specs and drawings
- Using power tools to complete assembly
- Touching-up of products prior to shipment to meet RW Gate standards
- Utilizing forklifts and pallet jacks to move product
- Using grinding wheels and chemical cleaners to prepare materials for assembly
- Special projects as assigned by the shop supervisors
Assembler/Builder Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Able to use common hand and power tools
- Able to read and analyze 2D CAD drawings, and use a tape measure
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs on a repetitive basis
- Requires deadline driven, high-energy individual, able to work autonomously and in team settings
- Ability to follow company policies, including the use of personal safety equipment
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite programs
- Ability to multi-task with moderate supervision
- Forklift experience preferred but not required
