Production Associate 2nd Shift Job at ChromaScape
ChromaScape is searching for a Production Associate in the Stow, OH location. The Production Associate will have a variety of responsibilities and will follow all safety and OSHA guidelines within the facility. **Compensation range is $18 - $20 based on experience and other qualifying factors.
**Shift Schedule is hybrid between 1st shift and 2nd shift hours
Responsibilities for the Production Associate:
- Operate blending, pumping, and packing equipment including any support equipment as trained and defined by standard procedures and process conditions.
- Safely operate forklift trucks.
- Record all process conditions, weights, and other pertinent data as directed using ABAS (Enterprise Resource Planning System). This may require manual (paper) and electronic (tablet/computer) completion.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly work area including break room and locker room.
- Maintain efficient production rates, minimize machine downtime, minimize production loss, maintain equipment, and follow all job-related instructions as directed by supervision.
- Reporting any damage, maintenance problems, or processing problems immediately to supervision and participate in solutions to those problems.
- Report any safety concerns immediately to the identified Safety Coordinator or immediate supervisor.
- While performing any procedure, all associates and contract personnel must observe applicable Safety, Health, Quality and Environmental rules and guidelines. The use of appropriate personal protective equipment is required.
Qualifications for the Production Associate:
- Competent / comfortable with the use of information technology.
- High school Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of production procedures or prior experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
- Basic math skills. (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Forklift experience preferred
- Familiar with production equipment and machinery
Physical Demands for the Production Associate:
- While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk or hear.
- Occasionally is required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
- The Production Associate is frequently required to stand, walk, and climb stairs and or ladders.
- Must be able to frequently lift up to 55 pounds and manually move product.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to read Safety Data Sheets and other equipment/material related instructions
- While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
- Mental and physical dexterity to facilitate machine operation and physical ability to obtain respirator clearance.

Pay Rate: $18 - $20
