Summary:

The Public Relations Specialist will administer the marketing strategy and programs for Grace Health serving as an influencer and enabler for enhanced marketing initiatives, while ensuring that an integrated and well-coordinated system-wide strategic marketing program leverages opportunities for all areas of Grace Health. This position will collaborate with leadership to help shape and define processes, be an advocate for employees, drive actionable results, and influence change. Further, this position is an integral role to the marketing and communications throughout Grace Health. This position reports regularly to the CFO.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support and facilitate development and implementation of the marketing plan
  • Develop and manage a marketing dashboard and marketing ROI to drive decision making on marketing budget
  • Manage the marketing budgets and oversees expenditures of accounts in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and restrictions
  • Manage, schedule and develop the schedule of social media communications including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and any other social media platforms
  • Execute and continuously evolve the plan to contemporize Grace Health's marketing consistent with leading healthcare organizations to maintain a competitive edge
  • Provide accurate, helpful information to the public to support healthier living and how to address chronic and acute needs
  • Ensure a consistent, high-quality brand identity which captures Grace Health's unique positioning
  • Collaborate with Grace Health leadership team to ensure alignment of marketing plans with business goals to advance Grace Health’s reputation among audiences in all communities served
  • Optimize Grace Health's positioning in the marketplace and foster positive relationships with patients, other physicians, other healthcare organizations, and the community
  • Create communications plans and responses, media relations strategies, issues/reputation management, executive communications, social media, etc.
  • Create comprehensive internal communications programs which utilize a variety of platforms to communicate employee engagement across all levels of Grace Health, so all employees feel informed, motivated, and understand how vital their role is to support the organization’s mission
  • Participate on internal and external job-related committees as requested by CFO
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by CFO

  • Team members will participate in the review and evaluation processes of practice performance and help to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Team members will participate in Grace Health's advocacy program.

GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Develops, implements and maintains Grace Health’s marketing plan/strategies.
  • Maintains Grace Health’s social media platform and web presence.
  • Promotes Grace Health via advertising/sponsorships.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and Communications or related field
  • Professional level of knowledge in business or health care administration
  • Successful track record of strategic marketing
  • Strong portfolio of integrated marketing communication capabilities; significant experience developing brand strategy, digital marketing, content marketing, web development and optimization, customer experience, and integration with external and internal communications functions
  • Consumer marketing expert with track record of developing and stewarding brands
  • Track record of business building marketing strategies and programs

Preferred

  • Master's Degree in Marketing and Communication or any relevant field
  • FQHC experience
