As a valued member of the Bishop Quality Assurance (QA) team, you will be responsible for implementing QA systems that help to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and you will ensure compliance with regulations by performing Equipment Inspections. You will be supporting BASF’s Nutrition & Health (EN) division, which develops, produces, and markets ingredients for the nutrition and health industries, while fulfilling the highest safety, regulatory and sustainability standards.

Review batch record documentation, including manufacturing and packaging records and laboratory data for completeness and compliance with cGMP requirements. Conduct periodic inspections of production unit (documentation, equipment, and shipping containers), the laboratory and warehouse. Perform physical inspections of operational equipment to ensure cleanliness while working at various elevations and on confined spaces, requiring the climbing of stairs, walking on metal walkways, and grating, use of scaffolding, etc. Document product compliance through use of the SAP QM module to generate Certificates of Analysis; maintain documentation demonstrating compliance with customer audit corrective actions; and ensure proper documentation of any significant change in compliance with FDA and EN change control processes. Assist your Quality Team colleagues in writing Standard Operating Procedures to ensure cGMP compliance, in performing non-conformance and root cause investigations and providing cGMP training to operations and laboratory staff.
