Position Summary:

This is a full-time hourly (non-union) position at a Sunflower, Canola and Soybean Oil Processing facility. Work is on rotating shifts with the possibility of overtime and regular weekend work.

Shifts rotate between 6 AM to 6 PM (Day Shift) and 6 PM to 6 AM (Night Shift) with 4 days on – 4 days off.

Job Responsibilities:

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

· Must demonstrate expertise in all aspects of operations while driving day to day excellence: safety, food safety, risk assessment, process execution, process control, and troubleshooting.

· Operate and maintain seed cleaner, seed dryer, conveying and product gates.

· Daily equipment checks to ensure equipment is functioning and maintained

· General housekeeping of your work area, including GMP and MSS Tasks.

· Identify issues and troubleshoot solutions in designated area

· Operation of rail movers and railcar vehicles following rail safety program.

· Physical work out in the elements. Ability to meet these physical requirements such as prolonged kneeling, bending, climbing stairs and ladders, shoveling, sweeping and ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted

· Ability to clearly, concisely communicate rail movements

· Ability to work from heights

· Ability to cover vacations, overtime, and other operational gaps on an as-needed basis.

Required Skills:

· Ability to clearly, concisely communicate rail movements

· Ability to work from heights

· Prior experience operating a forklift/pay loader/skid-steer/railcar mover is preferred

· Must exhibit regular and prompt attendance.
