As the Software Engineering Team Lead, you will oversee the delivery of services to clients including, Data Analytics/IoT, Configuration Services, Mobile Development, Web Development, and Quality Assurance. You will lead and inspire our technical teams to ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience, build a positive team culture in line with our values, collaborate with other leaders and achieve business and financial goals.

What you'll accomplish:

• Work with and mentor members of the development team in a growing organization
• Play an active role in development (50% time will be engineering) as a player-coach and tech expert to ensure knowledge, engineering practices, and patterns are shared
• Ensure excellence of service delivery and model what it means to be a team player
• Collaborate internally with all functional areas of the business to ensure effective knowledge sharing and aligned efforts
• Lead individuals, teams, and clients into and through innovation as well as challenging/conflicting conversations toward outcomes, decisions, and results
• Ensure delivery of timely and high-quality technology solutions that meet customer requirements, accelerate time to first value, and drive measurable business impact
• Manage, forecast, and monitor resource capacity and utilization
• Ensure teams have processes and disciplines in place to staff customer engagements appropriately
• Continuously improve and enhance software development methodologies to drive efficiency and consistency
• Provide subject matter expertise to pre-sales scoping and estimation to be done on a project
• Lead in a way that recognizes and praises individual efforts and collaborative successes
• DevOps: Ensure our systems keep running. Ensure we meet our SLAs
• Cyber-security: Oversee all cyber-security initiatives and ensure we maintain compliance with industry standard frameworks.

What you'll bring:

• 5-7 years of hands-on experience in technology with at least 2 years as a team Lead
• Demonstrated experience developing robust applications (Python)
• Experience implementing and managing cloud hosting solutions, especially AWS.
• Prior experience leading a team as a working manager in a project or professional services environment
• Effective leadership in your team executing design initiatives with both junior and experienced developers.
• Passion for coaching, coding and mentoring
