Essentia Health-Duluth (Miller-Dwan Building) is a 165-bed hospital located adjacent to Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center. Our building is home to units that care for patient populations including: Med-Surg, Inpatient Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Adult and Adolescent Behavioral Health, Outpatient Interventional Pain, Outpatient Wound care, Outpatient Surgery, Med-Surg/Ortho same day or overnight surgery, Inpatient Dialysis, and Oncology.

The Med-Surg unit at EH-D is a 20-bed unit caring for both medical and surgical patients. A general Med-Surg unit is a great place to gain a foundational skillset with which to build on in your nursing career. You may find this unit to be a great place to start, or a great place to continue to grow. 20-bed units would be considered a "small" unit for our hospital size. A smaller unit can be an asset in the sense that you are more in tune with both the patients, and the staff that make up the team you are working with. We look forward to showing you

Qualifications:

• Current nursing licensure in the state(s) of employment
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 month from the date of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support ( ACLS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 year from the date of hire.
