The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible for the accuracy of goods received, checking the content and figures, and quality control. This individual must ensure that goods received are per agreement and contract with food providers and that they are delivered instantly to their respective areas. Will also be responsible for controlling the accuracy and process of goods return, ensure handling and control of the HACCP, track all receiving and distribution, manage inventory levels, track costs, ensure correct storage of all items, perform monthly inventory and assist in other areas as needed.
Requirements
The position requires a person of high integrity with a minimum of 6 months of experience in a similar capacity with proven ability to operate a hotel purchasing computer system and personal computer. Previous luxury hotel experience is strongly preferred. This person must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time, handle working in a noisy environment effectively, and be capable of lifting and moving boxes of at least 40 lbs. The organized candidate will be an effective problem solver with the ability to efficiently communicate with hotel clients and staff. Attention to safety standards and the ability to make prudent choices are essential.
