Your opportunity

New Relic's Authentication Platform team delivers services and API's that ensure we deliver the right functionality to the right users. We work collaboratively to deliver delight for our customers, both internal and external. Our work includes experimental new features, refactoring existing code, and maintaining legacy services.


What you'll do
  • Design and implement features, in tandem with other engineers and product owners
  • Maintain and modernize existing code, both in our data center and the cloud
  • Collaborate with your team to constantly improve our work and process.
  • Accelerate your career through engineering breadth and depth.
  • Learn how to use the New Relic product to its fullest!
  • Program in Ruby and other languages as appropriate
This role requires
  • 1+ years building & shipping reliable services at scale
  • Expertise in a backend language such as: Java, Ruby, Golang, Python or C#
  • Emotional intelligence and collaboration skills that encourage authenticity and creativity
Bonus points if you have
  • Experience with Identity and Access management

Estimated Base Pay Range: $ 95,000 - $ 119,000
Consistent with New Relic's values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. The base pay range above represents a good faith estimate of the low and high end base pay range for the listed position. This role may be eligible for the corporate bonus plan (or, if a sales role, a commission plan as defined in the sales incentive plan document), participation in our stock equity plan, short- and long-term incentives, and other department-specific awards that may be applicable. In addition, New Relic provides a variety of benefits to employees. The range provided may also represent candidate ranges and may not reflect the full range or geographic differential for an individual tenured employee.
