Special Projects Content Editor Job at Bloomberg BNA
You work with Executive Editor and other editors and reporters across the newsroom to manage and process information for special news reports and projects.
What you will do:

- Help to manage major Bloomberg Law special reports. Edit, write and gather content for use in reports.
- Develop project-focused spreadsheets in Excel to organize, track and manage projects.
- Closely manage the submission and review process and promptly respond to inquiries and/or questions.
- Engage with law firm personnel (and other external contacts) on project deadlines and submission inquiries, etc.to respond to questions about upcoming special reports. Also help to guide applicants and firm personnel through the submission and review processes.
- Help to organize and serve as a resource for newsroom review teams reviewing materials in submission-driven special reports.
- Help to shape and coordinate special report formats, including inputting content and formatting material for publication.
- Assist in all other duties (as assigned).
You need to have:

- At least 5 years of professional journalism experience which includes at least 3 years editing experience.
- Demonstrated experience writing and editing news features.
- Demonstrated experience conceptualizing, leading and collaborating on longer-term news projects.
- Experience collaborating with graphics team and other reporters and editors.
- Background knowledge on the legal profession, law firms, preferred
