This position may be performed remotely anywhere within the United States except for the State of Colorado, Alaska, North Dakota, or South Dakota.
Benefits:
Salary Range for all U.S. Residents (excluding Alaska, California, North Dakota, South Dakota): $81,470.00 to $105,800.00
Salary Range for California Residents Only : $106,240.00 to $132,800.00

Overview:
The Senior Financial Analyst role is a key position within Blackhawk Finance Expense Team. This position will provide support to our Accounting, Finance, and Business partners in both generating meaningful financial insights and analysis of this data. Additionally, the role will work with cross functional teams to lead various projects to optimize reporting processes and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting. This position will improve processes and create innovative solutions to drive efficiency in month end close, financial statement preparation and analysis, reporting, planning, and forecasting.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Provide financial modeling and business decision support including preparation of the annual Plan and periodic forecasts and planning cycles
  • Interacts with business, finance, accounting, and operations to assist in day-to-day activities
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of period-end actual vs. plan results as well as summary presentation views for management review
  • Financial analysis and data gathering using tools and technologies, performing ad hoc analysis to support the needs of the business
  • Leads and/or participates in multiple initiatives to re-align, modernize, and automate the Company's reporting as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Able to multi-task and balance multiple high priority tasks
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years Finance experience with the ability to develop excel-based financial models and prepare and present analysis (Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting or Business
  • Experience in expenses and monthly variance analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build relationships with business partners and influence change
  • Ability to prioritize effectively to meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail
  • Must be comfortable working in a small, entrepreneurial company without a large support team
