Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and develop all STA-Engineers in the region, the performance
- review and targets, maintain the qualification/ expertise of STA team.
- Ensure compliance of STA team with quality management standards, IATF
- 16949 and company procedures.
- Lead strategic initiative for Continuous improvement of SD/STA processes,
- maintain and improve Vibracoustic systems and tools utilized by SD/STA.
- Accountable for task forces/ problem solving development lead by STA
- Engineers related to supplier major concerns and launch issue.
- Evaluate, improve and develop non-performing suppliers – Support supplier
- escalation reviews and activities for the region.
- Develop together with SD the suppliers capabilities and implementation of
- lessons learnt & best practices.
- Supplier Audits (prepare, conduct/support, follow-up).
- Support Commodity management and Global SD in regard to Portfolio strategy.
- Support Global SD on assessing and Developing new suppliers.
- Support Organization at Global level if needed..
- Develop and lead initiative on sustainability, Energy audits, Co2 reduction.
- Improve competitiveness of the supplier base supporting lean management /
- Value management initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering.
- 10 years experience in related fields (preferably Automotive).
- Commodity specific knowledge (HPDC, Stampings etc..), Project
- Management, Knowledge in related Quality fields (IATF 16949/VDA, quality
- core tools, problem solving etc.).
- Others
- Drive change within cross functional and Global organization
- Analytical, Structured, Target orientated
- Presentation skills
- Identify risk, develop strategy to mitigate concept and deploy action
- Lean manufacturing methods
