Job Summary:

The Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) engineering team contributes through all phases of the product development lifecycle (i.e. systems and software requirements, software integration and test, simulation and test, integration and test, verification and sell-off), within an interdisciplinary process that ensures the customer and warfighters needs are satisfied through every stage. This commitment to excellence can sometimes include opportunities for travel, and flexible hours/shifts in order to ensure programmatic milestones are met.

Our team of talented engineers collaborates across disciplines from initial concepts to product sell off, integrates complex technology, debugs and resolves interface issues, evaluates system performance, demonstrates and sells off state-of-the-art products.

The selected applicant will join a team of talented engineers with integration and test of sophisticated naval and maritime systems in support of the Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) program, located in either St. Petersburg, Florida, or San Diego, California as part of Advanced Networking Solutions (ANS). The U.S. Navy’s Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC), a real-time ‘sensor-netting’ system that brings together radar data into a single integrated air picture from geographically dispersed ships, aircraft, and ground-based units. This integrated picture improves a battlegroup’s effectiveness by enabling longer range, cooperative, or layered engagements. Today’s CEC benefits from advancements in commercial and specialized technologies, as well as from the experience and expertise of the Raytheon team, continually innovating to advance capability and performance.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Support system level integration and test planning, design, and execution
• Prepare test plans, test procedures, and test cases
• Develop detailed integration and verification procedures, incorporating automation
• Perform integration and test activities in-house or at site locations
• Utilize DOORS to capture verification artifacts and maintain traceability to requirements
• Product Owner of an Agile Scrum Team

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
• Typically requires 2 years of prior relevant/overall engineering experience, or a Master's degree in STEM
• An active and in-scope Secret (or higher) US security clearance

Qualifications We Value:

• Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or Systems Engineering
• Experience in the operation, test, and troubleshooting of complex military systems
• Experience in the operation, test, and troubleshooting of Naval systems
• Experience in the integration, test and verification of software and software requirements
• Experience using DOORS for requirements management, and for linking requirements to test procedures
• Experience with software/systems integration planning and execution
• Experience in programming in C/C++, Python, or other programming language
• Experience with requirements management databases, for example DOORS
• Experience in scripting and automation techniques or methodologies
• Development of integration, verification, and validation planning documentation of integration and test plans, procedures, reports, status reports, and other related documentation
• Experience with Agile project management, including project estimating, reporting, and backlog management
• Experience with Automated Test scripting and Automated Data analysis
• Experience with DevOps/Test Forward
• Experience with MATLAB

Location Details
