Technical Support Engineer Job at HMC - MERA
The Technical Support Engineer position will provide efficient and effective technical support for end users of Manufacturer’s or end user's equipment via telephone, e-mail, or on-site as determined by the Director of Technical Support. Candidates will attend training on equipment provided by the equipment manufactures. Occasional field service calls may be required at end user sites. An after-hours cellular telephone will be carried on a rotation schedule to support Technical Support calls
RESPONSIBILITES:
* Provide customer or end-user with Technical Phone Support and repair estimates
* In-house customer or client system repairs, estimates, and report documentation
* Interface with equipment manufacturers (OEM’s) for support and direction
* Provide Field Reps with Technical Phone Support and assistance
* In-house parts logistics, equipment tracking and measurement device calibration
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Two-year associates degree or higher education in Electronics or Biomedical Engineering
* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documentation, schematic and drawings.
* Familiar with setup and application of test equipment
* Prefer 3-5 years’ experience in Electronics or Biomedical Engineering field
* Pay will be based on qualifications and experience

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
