We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our medical team. As anUltrasound Tech, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including Carotid ultrasound and Abdominal aortic aneurysm. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, utilizing cutting-edge technology to provide our patients with the highest level of care possible.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including Carotid ultrasound and Abdominal aortic aneurysm
- Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and results
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnoses
- Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper functioning and calibration
- Stay up-to-date with the latest ultrasound technology and techniques
- Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent
- ARDMS certification in Ultrasound technology
- 3+ years of experience in performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including Carotid ultrasound and Abdominal aortic aneurysm
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends as needed
