AGCO Corp has an exciting opportunity for a VP, Global HR Business Partner to join its Human Resources department. Reporting to the CHRO, the Vice President, Human Resources, for the Global Precision Ag & Digital (PAD), Engineering, and IT organizations is the HRBP to assigned global senior leaders and their leadership teams and is responsible to align local, regional, and global business, organizational, and talent needs with the global Human Capital Strategy. This role requires an innovative leader and business partner who collaborates to develop and implement our people strategy. Leveraging people leadership, HR domain expertise, communication skills, strong analytical capabilities, and a knack for encouraging teamwork, this individual will partner with leaders across the organization to deliver business results. In this role, she/he will ensure the effective delivery of the full life cycle of HR practices to attract, retain and develop our associates.


What you will do:


  • Serve as a member of the Global HR Leadership Team (GHRLT); responsible for the successful implementation and delivery of the Global Human Capital Strategy, development and leadership of the global HR Community.
  • Provide comprehensive Human Resources leadership and execution of talent, leadership, culture, and HR operational excellence in the following areas: talent management (including strategic workforce planning, talent acquisition, assessment, and development), performance management, succession planning, organization development, employee engagement, total rewards implementation/leveraging, culture enablement and efficient HR processes.
  • Translate strategic and tactical business plans into HR strategies, develops operational plans with robust project management leadership
  • Identify gaps between future strategic objectives of the organization and current organizational capabilities, competencies, and skills; then partner with senior leadership to develop strategies that impact the attraction, motivation, development, and retention of talent.
  • Drive the successful implementation of culture change initiatives while embracing the organization’s business and financial objectives, supporting or building the necessary organizational design, change management, recognition, and retention programs to ensure success.
  • Lead a global team of HR professionals providing direction, oversight and career development. Ensure they provide counsel, insight, and decision support to leaders and teams across areas of responsibility.


What you will bring:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Psychology, or related field
  • 15 + years of directly related HR experience, 3+ in a leadership role of an HR team in a matrixed business environment is required with a strong track record of outstanding leadership and execution. Previous direct leadership of a global HR team: working in multiple regions (minimum 2) is required; with the demonstrated capability to communicate with, influence, engage, and influence different cultures and styles.
  • Relationship Building: Successfully builds strong working relationships from a geographical distance. Possesses the ability to identify and understand the unique communication styles appropriate for a wide range of executives and have been successful building relationships/personal credibility with each respective group.
  • Change Leadership: A history of personally influencing behavioral and philosophical change among business leaders.
  • Strategic Leadership: Identifies the broad implications of different business models, value propositions and strategic choices, makes timely and sound business decisions in spite of ambiguity, uncertainty and short-term pressures; creates long-term value and competitive differentiation through smart solutions.
  • Talent Management: Experience in hiring executive talent, assessing OD/OE structure, performance management, and talent development.
