Warehouse Worker- Order Puller Job at Stark Carpet

Stark Carpet/Prestige Mills in Calhoun is looking for reliable warehouse employees to work 1st shift (7:30 am- 4:00 pm MONDAY-FRIDAY).
Responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties, including inventory counts, processing orders, processing and moving inventory throughout the warehouse using powered industrial equipment. Positions include Pole Hyster drivers and Sample Pullers.
Job duties may include:
- Pull and/or store inventory from stock
- Move inventory throughout production process
- Examine and inspect inventory for defects
- Pull and relocate inventory for production
- Scan and/or manually enter inventory data into computer
- Manually cut carpet using sharp instruments
- Receive finished rugs from various fabrication departments
- Inspect finished rugs for design, quality and size according to the client’s specifications
- Reject any rugs that do not pass QC standards and send to the proper fabrication department for repair/adjustment
- Wrap correct pad (if applicable) with rug and pack out bundle in a quality fashion
Required Physical Abilities
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work in a warehouse environment, changing temperatures.
- Must be able to kneel, crawl and/or bend for long periods of time.
