Join Our Team

Bank of Montserrat Limited is seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team on a six-month contract.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring that every customer interaction reflects the Bank’s commitment to professionalism and care.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide superior, courteous, efficient, and quality service to all customers in accordance with the Bank’s customer service standards.
  • Promote and maintain positive relationships with customers, visitors, and other stakeholders.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls within three rings in a warm, welcoming, and professional manner.
  • Accurately direct callers to the appropriate department or team member.
  • Respond to customer enquiries where possible or refer enquiries to the appropriate person.
  • Take and deliver accurate telephone messages in a timely manner.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the Customer Service Department.
  • Complete administrative and clerical duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
  • Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must possess:

  • Four (4) CXC subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
  • Basic computer proficiency and comfort using digital banking platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
  • A professional attitude and strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivation and a proactive approach to work.
  • Good problem-solving abilities.
