ELM FieldSight provides unique solutions in Energy Storage Solutions to their customers. Their suite of products includes:

· Microgrid controllers for energy systems that include generators, inverters, solar arrays, and batteries

· Battery Energy Storage Systems for home, commercial, and utility scale

For these different product lines, ELM is responsible for designing the system electrical architecture, hardware selection, software development, mechanical design of the packaging, fire safety systems, configuring and installing systems, as well as the back-end web monitoring and database.

ELM FieldSight is looking to hire a Compliance Engineer to help oversee all applicable codes are being met for the ELM line of products. This applicant would be responsible for:

· Ensuring product lines are compliant with all relevant UL and NFPA codes for Energy Storage Systems

· Familiar with National Electrical Code

· Working with local AHJ to understand their local codes and requirements

· General MEP design principals

· Researching latest safety features and how/when they need to be implemented into products

· Direct interface with testing agencies to get quotes and oversee certifications are completed in timely manner

This applicant must be detail oriented and familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. They should rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, and perform a variety of complicated tasks.

Qualifications:

· Requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering

· 2-5 years of relevant experience in product regulatory compliance

· Familiarity with UL certifications and testing standards

· Must have effective oral and written communication skills and work well with people

· Must be a self-motivator to create and coordinate their own tasks and goals.

· This job could require up to 10% travel.
